Engineer Auburn Hills, MI 48326CES Inc. has an opportunity working as an Engineer for 1 of our clients in the automotive industry.DescriptionComputational Fluid Dynamics Powertrain 3D combustion engineer will be responsible for using commercial CFD tools to perform 3D and 1D analysis of various powertrain components such as intake/exhaust manifolds, ports and valves, combustion chamber and piston design. The engineer will be using 3D combustion codes (CONVERGE, STAR-CD) in order to identify design and operating features that will enhance the combustion efficiency. The applicant will work together with the Engine release groups, suppliers, offshore CAE team to proactively identify issues, develop solutions and meet program performance objectives and timings. He/she will use current established methodologies, identify future improvements in analysis capabilities and document these procedures.
